Her performance in these tournaments gained her a tryout with the Costa Rican National team and recognition from local coaches. She was set to compete against the USWNT in the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying game for CR but was ineligible to travel out of the country with the team due to issues with her dual citizen paperwork. She played in the W-League, a semi-pro women's soccer league in North America for 4 years for the NJ Wildcats and the North Jersey Valkyries. Cindy played D1 soccer for Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a 4-year Varsity starter at Indian Hills High School.
