RYSA  has been in our community since the 1980’s and began as the Ramapo Youth Soccer Association with Bobby Calderon providing high-level soccer training to our local players. RYSA was officially incorporated in 1994

RYSA training is led by Bobby Calderon of First Shot Soccer, who played professionally in the Primera Division de Costa Rica for Deportivo Saprissa and has led many teams to state cup and national tournament championships.

Our trainers are dedicated to developing the young athletes in our community. They continue their trainer education to achieve new certificates of training. Our trainers range from certified directors of coaching, some have played professional soccer, head coaches of High School Varsity Soccer, and many played in college. All trainers have their USSF "F", "E" license or above.  RYSA-trained players are easily recognized for their high skill level, game strategies, confidence, and sportsmanship.
